April 26th- 29th

A very short week is ahead of us.
Let's get ready for it!

Spelling List 1
We"ll have our first test on Thursday 28th. Please practice the words from the list and a sentence of each. 20 words will be dictated on the test, and 10 sentences must be written.

General Knowledge
We will keep on working with Impressionism Style, especially with our first artist : Claude Monet.
Please look, cut, label  and paste the following pictures in your G.K notebook:
  • One charcoal caricature made by Claude Monet
  • Water Lilies by Claude Monet
  • The Japanese Bridge by Claude Monet


 Remember that there were two pictures that must be pasted  and labeled with the information of Impressionism ( before Monet's Information)
  • Starry Night by Van Gogh and 
  • Impression Sunrise by Monet
 
Grammar
We will work with Troublesome Verbs ( 128- 131). We will also review the Perfect Tenses and the Continuous/ Progressive Tenses. 
  • Our Grammar Test 1 will be on Friday 6th. Start practicing for it.

Science
We will have an interesting activity on Friday 29th. Please bring a full color picture of an atom and its parts,  markers, scissors,and your gluestick.

         Reading- Writing 
                         Glitter Words

Drop Everything And Read DAY. We will take some time to lie on the floor and enjoy reading. Bring your favorite book and pillow!

III TERM April 11th – 29th

April 4th- 8th

Term Exams are back!!

We will have this week:
  • Social Studies (Sociales) Tuesday 5th
  • Spelling  on  Wednesday 6th Lists 1 to 4, parctice meanings, sentences and spelling of each word.
  • General Knowledge  on Thursday 7th  (Renaissance Architecture, Bernini, Brunelleschi,Rubens, Rembrandt and Velazquez). The reviews that have been done in class will be very helpful.
  • Science on Friday 8th ( How do Organisms Grow and reproduce?, How did Sientist learn about inheritance? What are Adpatation? and Adaptations for living in water, land, and different climates.
The reviews have been done in class, check notebooks, dittos and books.
Important information:


 1. Book Fair! Starts tomorrow April 5th! It is 

time to read!.

2. School's 25th Anniversary Mass. April 9th at 6:00 pm at our School's Auditorium
3. Remember to be always  precautious with your health and others.
4.  Remember that your personal appearance
                                                       is part of your Discipline grade.
                                  Set the  appointment with your barber if needed!! :)
